The Newton

Humberstone Road, Cambridge

About The Newton

Where and how you live as a student can really inform the rest of your life; you’ll study there, relax there, maybe plan your first career move there, certainly make life-long friends there.

Occupied since 2014, the apartments at The Newton were carefully designed to provide comfortable, robust and secure student accommodation in Cambridge. The brand new building incorporates elements of the original façade of the former public house that previously stood here, and the new features were designed to complement the existing Victorian architecture in the area.

We are justifiably proud of these stylish Cambridge apartments, which won a prestigious award at the 2014-15 UK Property Awards. Each one is finished to a very high standard with smart en-suite shower rooms, fitted kitchens and under-floor heating.

The Local Area

The Newton is ideally situated in the heart of Cambridge; Anglia Ruskin University and the many colleges and departments comprising the University of Cambridge are within easy walking distance. And if rowing is your thing, you’re just a few minutes from the River Cam and the boathouses that line it.

Humberstone Road itself is a relatively quiet, residential street but with a variety of amenities within a short walk - offering welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of the City Centre - but with easy access to essential facilities.
